Meclostampi group was founded at the beginning of the 1970s on the initiative of Cav. Antonio Canobbio joined, over the years, by his sons Giuseppe and Valter; the family has thus carried out a successful industrial project in the metalworking sector specializing in the design and construction of high precision tools for sheet metal cold forming.
More than forty years of experience in this field has led us to acquire a complete mastery of metal cold forming issues on all aspects and this, together with a natural passion, make us a skilled and reliable partner.

Equipped with a fleet of double-sided presses from 250KN to 6.000KN among the best on the market. In addition to standard productions for third parties, new tools undergo rigorous inspections and real pre-series production recreating the same conditions in which the tool will be used later on.

THREADING UNITS
For more than 20 years on the market, patented and sold all over the world, the mechanical threading unit designed and manufactured by Meclostampi holds within itself a variety of qualities which allow its use in a simple, reliable and, above all, economic way in all those applications where threading cooperations is required in the stamping cycle. Meclostampi threading unit is currently exported to more than 25 countries in the world and approved by all major car manufacturers.

One of our major strengths is no doubt the variety of reference markets; over the years this has lead us to acquire a greatly diversified experience about a wide range of issues in the field of sheet metal cold forming.
In fact, we are used to manufacture tools for the medical field producing few hundredths thick parts (0.038) as well as “cold forming” articles 6 mm. thick!
